Finishing, ironing and quality control: tailoring’s final steps
As the other tailoring’s steps, ironing is done in our company. The ML Group’s ironing department takes care of the final appearance of every collection. For this purpose, the operations of finishing and quality controls are conducted in our company, so that we can verify if the brand is pleased. Once sewed in the sewing department, every item of clothing is completed with accessories. The finishings are made with scrupulous precision and attention to the detail, resulting invisible if necessary. At this point, the item of clothing is shaped by the heat of the industrial ironing to achieve its final aplomb.
Professional ironing of outerwear, clothes, trousers and details:
Our industrial ironing system allows to iron every kind of cloth and the several parts which compose every item of clothing. From the outerwear and coat to trousers, from the collar to the cuff. For this purpose we have machines, professional molds and presses to cover all the kinds of models. The staff responsible for the ironing ensure that the final appearance of the cloth correspond exactly with the directions, enhancing the line of the model. After the final steps of tailoring, we verify if everything correspond to our client’s expectations. In particular, the realized products need to satisfy the criteria of aesthetic, comfort, resistance and precision in the details. That’s why during the producing process, our quality controls follow the outputs of every department, from the tailoring of the prototypes to the delivery of the sample cases and collections. When necessary, the item of clothing can be reworked with corrections and modifies. In addition to the finishing and professional ironing the final step of the production chain is the packaging and the delivery to the house of fashion which can be internal or by courier.
